CrimeTracker 15: Thief Has Trouble Finding Way Out of Apartment
The victim called to report the he woke up to find someone in his apartment. While on the phone with the 911 center the suspect tried to leave the apartment but, he couldn't find the door.

Release from Madison Police Department:

On Wednesday at 8:00 p.m., the victim on the 400 block of W Johnson St., called to report the he woke up to find someone in his apartment. While on the phone with the 911 center the suspect tried to leave the victims apartment but, he couldn't find the door.

This gave the victim time to get to a good look at the suspect. He relayed this description to the 911 center.

While officers were on the way the suspect found the door.

He was arrested a few blocks away with some property of the victim.

Suspect: Van Hendricks arrested for burglary
