Two Injured In Grant County Crash
Two receive serious and critical injuries after a motorcycle crash. INSIDE: News release from the Grant County Sheriff's Department.

Information from the Grant County Sheriff's Department:

Those injured in the crash are Jody Slaski, 50, of Elkhorn, Wis., and Trudy Lichty, 49, of Pecatonica, Ill. Slaski is in critical condition and Lichty is in serious condition.

Slaski was traveling northbound on STH 133 near the intersection with Koehler Lane, west of Potosi, when the rear tire on the 1985 Honda Motorcycle blew out. Slaski and Lichty were both thrown off the motorcycle and skidded along the roadway.

Neither was wearing a helmet at the timeof the crash. Slaski was taken from the accident scene by Cassville EMS to Grant Regional Health Center where he was immediately air lifted by the first of two Med Flights to UW Hospitals and Clinics in Madison.

Lichty was transported from the scene to Grant Regional Health Center by Dickeyville EMS and then air lifted to UW Hospitals and Clinics by a second Med Flight crew.
