Marguerite Wisniewski, a 69-year-old Pardeeville resident, died from multiple internal injuries sustained during the accident. Ms. Wisniewski was pronounced deceased at the scene by the U.W. Med Flight physician.

On Saturday, September 12th 2009 the Columbia County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 310 Vince Street in the Village of Pardeeville.

The pedestrian, a 69-year-old female from Pardeeville, was walking eastbound on a sidewalk along Vince Street when she was struck by a motor vehicle backing out of a residential driveway at 310 Vince Street.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Kimberly J. Manthey, age 45 of Pardeeville, WI and was not injured during the incident.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Pardeeville Fire and EMS as well as UW Med Flight. This incident remains under investigation by the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor. It is not expected that charges will be filed on the driver of the vehicle at this time.
