Whether he was drunk or not does not really change that a life was taken and Larry gets that. He hates himself for what he has done. I'm not asking anyone to feel sorry for him, I just ask that anger not be used to make life-long decisions. He didn't go out to intentionally hurt anyone. Before everyone locks him up and throws away the key, how about implementing a more productive approach? He knows he has to do time, but how about helping him be a better person after that for his daughter's sake? I have heard that James was a good man, so would he really want only negative to come from his death? I have been in James' family's position and it is not easy, but it will feel better in the long run to help save a young father in the end instead of taking his life in the name of revenge. I wish I would have had the chance to save the girl who killed my mom. I believe that James would be happier up above if he knew his death brought some good instead of pure negativity.
