Whatever this guy was on it is inexcusable. This accident occured in my front yard.I was home at the time and if I would have been out getting my mail I would be dead.Either way this guy shouldnt have been driving if he already had 2 offenses.

To stephanie and Di, I am sorry for the hell he is putting you through. BUT, by reading your responses you two also sound like you need some couseling too. Stephanie, you are in complete denial and are of NO HELP to him getting sober. You try to justify his actions with reasons and excuses. You need help. Di, you sound to me like you enable him. You may be ashamed, but WHAT have you done for him to get him some help. Maybe what he needs to "hit rock bottom" (before his rock bottom is killing an innocent person) is for you to cut all ties with him until he can show the ability to remain sober and make some good choices. My whole family, wife, 4 kids, mother, father, bothers and sisters all threw me out in the street and when I was the only one left to cry to and put the blame on, I changed. I have now been clean and sober for 21 years. Just a thought.

he is my son. i am so grateful to whatever powers that be for watching over him and stopped him before he could kill some innocent(s) with his incomprehensible actions. there are no excuses. this is not the first time. it better be his last. his addictions are horrific. the cost gets higher and higher. i am so grateful the system works and he was saved from himself - once again. i am so ashamed of and for him. the saddest thing about this is that it will probably still not be his bottom.
