3 Finalists for Beloit Police Chief
3 finalists will be interviewed for Beloit’s vacant Police Chief position.

Release from the City of Beloit:

Beloit, WI October 27, 2009 --- The City of Beloit Police & Fire Commission announced today that three finalists have been chosen to interview for Beloit’s vacant Police Chief position. The finalists are:

-Derek Beiderwieden, Police Chief of DePere, WI
-Norm Jacobs, Deputy Police Chief, Beloit, WI
-Thomas Trier, Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Madison, WI

Jacobs, currently performing the duties of the Police Chief, was the only internal candidate among the 28 that applied.

Tentatively, interviews are planned by the Commission for mid-November.
