That's where students, Police Chief Noble Wray as well as Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz and others gathered to begin patrols.
The Langdon Street Neighborhood Watch program began last fall.
Volunteers will extend their hours for patrols through the end of the semester from eleven o'clock until three in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays.
That's after a number of attacks throughout the past year.
