Charge: SS946.13 (1)(b) Private Interest in Public Contract Capacity

The Janesville Police Department is seeking the arrest of Brandon M. Keirns, the former Manager of Information Services for the School District of Janesville. Mr. Keirns served as manager from January 2008 to November 2008.

An investigation conducted by the Janesville Police Department Detective Bureau showed, while he was employed with the School District of Janesville, Mr. Keirns created and maintained ownership of companies that sold software to the District. It was determined through the course of the investigation the software was overpriced and the proceeds were funneled through the companies owned by Mr. Keirns to his personal bank accounts. The District paid in excess of $185,000 for the software.

Mr. Keirns currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is President of Mithrax Networking located in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Anyone having knowledge of the location of Mr. Keirns can contact the Janesville Police Department or their local law enforcement agency. A criminal complaint and warrant has been filed with the Rock County Circuit Court.
