Madison Man Arrested for 5th OWI Offense

Madison, WI. November 4, 2009 – On Tuesday, November 3rd at approximately 7:25 pm, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call to check the welfare of a person in the City of Middleton.

Witnesses at a restaurant reported a customer had just arrived in a white S10 Blazer and appeared heavily intoxicated. When deputies arrived at the restaurant located at 8310 Greenway Blvd., they found the driver of the S10 Blazer to be Hilario Barrera Pastrana, age 32 of Madison.

Pastrana was subsequently arrested for OWI – 5th Offense, Open Intoxicants, and Operating After Revocation. He is currently being held in the Dane County Jail.

In addition to this felony arrest, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped three other drunk drivers overnight. Two were cited for first offense OWI, while the third was cited for his third offense.
