Release from Dane County Sheriff's Department:
At 3:04 a.m., Dane County Deputies, along with the Mount Horeb Fire Department were dispatched to the Bar Up Above for a report of a structure fire.
The Bar Up Above is located at 8637 Hwy G, in the Town of Springdale.
Upon deputies' arrival, flames were visible and the business was fully engulfed. Mount Horeb Fire Department was assisted by Verona and New Glarus Fire Departments.
No one was inside of the business at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
The business is a total loss and is estimated to be valued at $120,000.
