6th Offense OWI Arrest

Release from Dane County Sheriff's Office:

Madison, WI. November 2, 2011 – At approximately 12:09 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, a Dane County Sheriff’s deputy assigned to the Village of Cambridge arrested Craig A. Kitzman for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI)-6th Offense.

Kitzman, age 56 of Deerfield, was contacted by the deputy after citizens reported seeing Kitzman staggering near the roadway after exiting his vehicle on Park St. in the Village of Cambridge. It was determined Kitzman had been driving his vehicle on the roadway just prior to the contact.

Following field sobriety tests, Kitzman was arrested and booked in to the Dane County Jail on the felony OWI charge and a probation hold through the Department of Corrections.

"A friend" from Cambridge sounds like a good friend. However, I would think "good" friends would stick with the guy and keep him from driving. I wonder how long the friendship will last when he finally kills somebody.

Craig is a good guy with a bad habit. He needs help not jail. Is six OWI's to many ? Yes. Has he hurt anybody? Thank God No. Only himself. Sometimes life SUCKS sorry its not a PERFECT world Debbie.

When are the courts going to put them in jail and throw away the key? I know AFTER they KILL someone!
