Fatal Crash in Town of Franklin
A driver lost control and went down an embankment. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim of the fatal crash has been identified as Marlene Gruber, age 74, of Spring Green, Wisconsin.

Release from Sauk County Sheriff's Department:
On 11/21/09 at 8:46 PM, the Sauk County Communications Center received a call of a traffic accident on CTH B in the Town of Franklin.
Plain Fire, Plain EMS, Spring Green/Plain Police and Sauk County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered a vehicle had lost control while traveling westbound on CTH B. The vehicle went through a guardrail and down an embankment.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members.
