From the Green County Sheriff's Office:
At 5:10 P.M. (October 7, 2012) Deputies, along with Juda Fire and Green County EMS, responded to an ATV crash with injuries at W1821 CTH K, in the Town of Spring Grove.
Investigation revealed Evonne M. Montefelt, age 76 of Juda, was operating an ATV on private property when she lost control of the ATV, causing the ATV to travel down an embankment and roll over into a pond.
Montefelt’s foot was pinned by the ATV.
Another party located Montefelt, freed her from the ATV and removed her from the pond.
Montefelt was transported for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
She was not wearing a helmet or protective glasses.
There was no damage to the ATV.
