Greg P & Company- Yes this is a board for commenting on the news, but your last sentence is about as insensitive as it gets. Basically what your saying is people who are going through an insane amount of tragedy shouldn't be able to leave condolences for the family. But some of these other people can say whatever they want, even if they are based purely on assumptions. That's a double standard. Put yourself in the people's shoes who knew Nate. They are going through alot of emotions. Had this been someone you knew and loved, you might just want to leave condolences as well. But since this isn't anyone you know personally, people can write whatever they want. You'd probably be the first one screaming if this was your son or loved one. No one can turn back the clock and yes, we can talk about the circumstances of the accident and learn from them. But blaming Nate or his family, which most of you don't even know, is not appropriate. My heart goes out to all Nate's family and friends.

Travis, sorry for your loss, but it's not insensitive to comment about seatbelt use because someone died from not wearing one, or about excessive speed when someone died because of going too fast. It's what we SHOULD be talking about. This is not a board for condolences and walking on eggshells, it is for commenting on the news.
