Madison: At first glance, the email may look legitimate. It appears to come from the Centers for Disease Control and it says you need to create a personal H1N1 Vaccination Profile on their website.

"There's no validity to this, there's no registration," says Seth Boffeli, spokesman for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. They have been notifiying local health departments. "We got notified by CDC yesterday."

If you know how typical phishing scams work, you know what happens next. The link takes you to a fake website and downloads a virus on your computer.

"They're after that window into someone's computer where they can get that personal information," says Boffeli.

Boffeli says people are still confused about H1N1, especially with the vaccine shortages, and may be suckered in by a new variation on an old scam. "There may be kind of a ripe audience out there that really is concerned, really wants to get their vaccination and if it looks legitimate enough may think this is something they need to do in order to get vaccinated."

The solution is the same as with every suspicious email- delete it and move on.
