Hey E, If your birthday falls during the week, you can't celebrate it on the weekend. Are we clear!? LOL!

Posted by: E Location: MADison on Jul 1, 2008 at 02:39 PM
Hey Anon. June 30 @ 12:30am: who said you could decide "the way things were meant to be?" What next, are you going to tell me I can't celebrate my birthday on the weekend if it happens to fall during the week? Unless you're ponying-up the $$$ for the show, who cares when they're held.

Posted by: Kendra Location: Lodi on Jul 1, 2008 at 12:56 PM
Just got the local shoppers- Fire on the River in Sauk is Sat, July 5. It is the best- especially if you go into Veteran's Park- you can set up a chair right on the river. Come into town from the north on 78 so you don't get stuck downtown. DeForest fireworks are July 4. It says on the web that the fireworks in Shorewood Hills are also July 4.

Posted by: Anonymous on Jul 1, 2008 at 11:57 AM
Fire on the River is scheduled for July 5th.

So Monona is doing their fireworks on the 4th, anyone know about Fire on the River in Sauk? Or Blackhawk's fireworks in Shorewood Hills? THANKS!

Posted by: jennifer Location: Madison on Jun 30, 2008 at 03:47 PM
to anon 12:30am.. just because things were done that way before doesn't necessarily mean that it's the right way. It's 2008, time to just roll with the punches! if you don't want to celebrate any other day than the 4th, then don't, it's your choice.

can somebody delete comments for 2007 and older.

Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 30, 2008 at 12:30 AM
Why do sooo many places have fireworks ahead of the 4th? That is the day to celebrate ya know, or did people forget that along with opening presents on Christmas Eve. People tend to change things to accomidate themselves rather than the way things were meant to be.
