BARABOO, Wis. (AP) -- Public records show a man shot dead last week left nearly his entire estate to his 13-year-old son, who has been charged in the man's death.
Angelo "Nick" Crisafulli was a father of seven. He left a motorcycle to his brother, $1,400 for a young daughter and nothing for his other children.
He wrote that it was not from a lack of affection, but for other reasons he had thoroughly considered.
The Baraboo News Republic reports that though no precise amount is listed, documents filed with Sauk County show the estate is worth more than $50,000.
Prosecutors have charged the 13-year-old son with shooting his father to death Tuesday in their home in the rural town of Delton.
The judge has set bail at $500,000 and ordered a mental evaluation. Relatives say the boy has autism.

Town of Delton: A community is still in shock after learning a 13-year-old boy allegedly killed his father because he was angry.
13-year-old Michael Crisafulli is charged with 1st degree intentional homicide. According to the criminal complaint the boy told detectives he shot his dad in the back of the head with a small caliber handgun because he was angry. The boy says he was expelled from school that day and his quote, "balloon of anger" broke.
55-year-old Angelo 'Nick' Crisafulli was sitting in his recliner in the lower level of his home in the Town of Delton. Michael says he killed his dad, and then loaded the body into a wooden wagon and tried to pull it across the room.
A search warrant filed in Sauk County Court says that's where Chuck Crisafulli, Nick's brother, found him at 9 o clock Tuesday night. By then Michael had been picked up wandering around Wal-Mart and police asked Chuck to check on Nick because he wasn't answering his phone.
NBC 15 News spoke with Chuck Wednesday and he said of his brother, "his son meant everything in the world to him."
Michael was the youngest of Nick's 7 kids and family members and neighbors say Michael is autistic.
The District Attorney was required to charge Michael Crisafulli as an adult because he is older than 10 years old. However, Michael's defense attorney can filed a waiver to pull his case into juvenile court.
Michael's bond was set at $500,000 cash. He is being held at a juvenile facility at the Mendota Mental Health Institute here in Madison where he will undergo a mental competency evaluation. The results of that evaluation will have a big impact on whether Michael remains in adult court.
Michael is due back in court on February 12th for a status conference.

A 55-year-old man is dead in Sauk County and his 13-year-old son says he's the killer.
Just after nine on Tuesday night, Lake Delton Police responded to a call at the local Wal-Mart. There was a boy wandering around. When they arrived, they identified the boy as Michael Crisafulli and then tried to get a hold of his father. That's when they discovered the body of Angelo Crisafulli... better known as "Nick"... at his Town of Delton home on Shady Lane Road. He'd been shot in the head.
Chip Meister with the Sauk County Sheriff's Department says, "Investigators interviewed the 13-year-old who admitted he was responsible for the shooting of Mr. Crisafulli. The Juvenile was taken into custody and is being held on a charge of first degree homicide. "
Nick's son Michael admitted to the murder. Wednesday at a press conference officials said, after the shooting, Michael tried to move the body from the recliner where the shooting took place to a wagon so he could take it outside.
Deputy Meister says, " If he got outside I don't know what his plan would have been. Obviously he did not get outside with the body."
According to the criminal complaint, Michael claims he was just expelled from school that caused his "balloon of anger" to burst and caused him to kill his father.
Neighbors say the teen always seemed nice but you could tell he had issues.
Michael Van Huss says, " Sort of normal but you know...there was obviously...he more had the...instead of a 13 mentality he had more of a mentality of a 7-to-9-year-old."
Van Huss told NBC-15 that Nick said Michael was autistic. That could make things complicated as the case moves forward.
This afternoon. Michael was in a Sauk County Courtroom for his initial appearance.
He's being charged as an adult with first-degree intentional homicide.
Pat Barrett the Sauk County District Attorney says, " I'm bound by statute to charge him as an adult initially. The process essentially is one that would allow his counsel to request his being taken out of the adult court and being placed in juvenile court."
Michael Crisafulli's bond was set at $500,000 cash.
Michael is at the Mendota Mental Health Institute here in Madison at a juvenile facility where he'll undergo a mental competency evaluation.

Town of Delton: A 13-year-old boy allegedly shot and killed his father early Tuesday evening.
Police were called to the Lake Delton Wal-Mart just after 9 pm Tuesday night after Michael Crisafulli caused a disturbance at the store. After police made that initial contact--they tried to get in touch with the boy's father.
A Sauk County Sheriff's Deputy was sent to Angelo "Nick" Crisafulli's home in the Town of Delton on Shady Lane Road. The deputy found Nick Crisafulli face-down on his living room floor.
A criminal complaint filed in Sauk County Court says Michael admitted he took a small-caliber handgun from his father's gun cabinet and shot Nick in the head while he was laying in his reclining chair.
Michael told police he then tried to move the body with a wagon so he could take the body outside. When his father's body fell out, Michael said he left him on the living room floor, took $800 out of his father's wallet and walked several miles to the Wal-Mart.
Neighbors say the family seemed nice and "Nick" seemed like a very good father who worked several jobs to support his family.
Mike Van Huss lives across the road from Nick and Michael. He says Michael was nice, but you could tell he had some issues. "Sort of normal, but...instead of a 13 (year-old) mentality he had more of a mentality of a 7-to-9 year old."
According to the criminal complaint Michael was upset about being expelled from school, that's when his "balloon of anger" finally broke and he killed his father.
Michael Crisafulli faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison if he is convicted.
Michael Crisafulli turned 13 years old earlier this month. Barely a teenager, he has been charged as an adult with 1st degree intentional homicide.
State law says anyone over 10 years old has to charged in adult court. But his lawyers can file a reverse waiver to pull him into juvenile court. "It typically would happen after a preliminary hearing and a bindover," says Sauk County District Attorney Pat Barrett.
Ultimately a judge will decide where Michael will be tried, but Barrett's office could agree not to oppose a move.
Asst. D.A. Kevin Calkins says there are a number of factors that go into that decision. "We take into consideration mental health history, his physical age versus parent age. The judge has to make a determination to what services are available to him in the juvenile system versus the adult system."
One complicating factor is many people believe Michael is autistic. Van Huss says Nick told him Michael was autistic, and asked him to watch out for him if he wandered over to their house.
Michael's grandmother Alice Farber tells NBC 15 News that Michael is autistic.
But Calkins says they don't know if there has been a medical diagnosis of autism. "This would be a strange situation if there is in fact a diagnosis of mental illness. There's also the possibility of a not guilty by reason of mental defect. That's available in the juvenile and the adult system."
If Michael Crisafulli is convicted as a juvenile he could remain behind bars until age 25.
Bond was set at $500,000 cash. He's being held at a juvenile facility at the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison, where he will undergo a mental competency evaluation.

UPDATED Wednesday, January 20, 2010 --- 4:15 p.m.
Bail has been set at $500,000 dollars.
13-year-old Michael Crisafulli appeared in a Sauk County Courtroom this afternoon.
He faces a charge of first degree intentional homicide. State law requires him to be initially charged as an adult. But there will be multiple steps throughout the judicial process, and his lawyers can attempt to have him moved to juvenile court. Some of the factors the judge will consider in the decision are the boy's age and mental condition.
Several neighbors and family members of the boy have told NBC15 that the boy is autistic, but that has not been confirmed by any official sources. He will be sent to Mendota Juvenile Facility where he'll undergo a mental competency evaluation.

In Sauk County, a young teen admits to killing his father. The 13-year-old boy was found wandering around a Wal-Mart store, just after 9 last night.
Lake Delton police were called to the store. A deputy then went to the boy's fathers home and found the 55-year-old man, Angelo Crisafulli, dead, from an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head.
The police say the boy gave a confession.
The teen's grandma, Alice, lives in Reedsburg and isn't surprised her grandson shot his dad, who is her son-in-law.
"No, because the child was autistic and he really couldn't handle these things. And I don't think the father understood it and he never should have been awarded custody of him."
A check of court records for Angelo Crisafulli finds an ex-wife filed a harassment restraining order against him a few years ago. The case was closed without any action, as was a child abuse restraining order that Crisafulli filed against his in-laws. Alice says he was angry with them for taking the boy to the doctor.

that is bad
Josh, I couldn't agree more.
You people that feel that this child deserves a very good whooping or to be locked up in an institution or jail are really a lost cause! It's people like you that just don't get it and don't understand what a disability is do you?! Why don't you look up what Autism really is before you say such junk about the kid! Was it right he did that, no it wasn't! But that doesn't make it right for you people to judge him and try to determine what you feel is the best punishment for the young man!
