Olympic Send-Off For Jessie Vetter There will be an Olympic send-off Monday afternoon for Jessie Vetter.

Announcement from the Monona Chamber of Commerce:

Monona Grove School District will have an "Olympic Send Off" for Monona Grove's 2004 Graduate, Jessie Vetter, who is on the USA Women's Olympic Hockey Team, on Monday, January 25.

A "Meet & Greet" is planned at Monona Grove High School from 3:45 - 5:30 p.m. in the commons for all Cottage Grove and Monona residents.

Wear your Red, White and Blue and wish Jessie "Good Luck" on her quest for the GOLD!

I am sorry to say that I won't be able to attend and help her get the send-off she deserves, but I wish nothing but gold for her ! GOOD LUCK JESSIE!

Mary: True, they should. However, MGHS is doing this because she graduated from there. Don't take from the story! Congrats Jessie!

Mary, I'm sure they will at the capital, but this is a local girl born and raised (HS and College), this is why its a big deal for her
