Mother Arrested for Drunk Driving; 5-Year-Old in Car Police pull over a woman for intoxicated driving, and discover her 5-year-old daughter in the car. INSIDE: Report from MPD.

Incident Report from the Madison Police Department:

On Friday evening, Madison Police arrested a 35-year old intoxicated mother after she drove recklessly, in the wrong direction on Vilas Park Drive, with her 5-year old daughter inside the car. The child was not secured in a proper car seat, and witnesses said the woman drove up and over a one-way stone bridge before getting stuck in a snow bank. The suspect was stumbling when officers arrived, and unable to perform field sobriety tests. When shown what she was supposed to do, she stated: "See. I can't. I'm drunk. I'm drunk." Empty beer cans were found in the car. The suspect was arrested, and her child taken into protective custody.

Arrested:
Chenoa Natana Aleisha Taylor, age 35
Madison

Ms. Taylor was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence, and Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.

Anon 9:31, Just so it's clear I hate any moron driver that isn't paying attention. However, I especially hate the idiots who think the can drive drunk, text, or have one hand available while the other is permanently attached to their ear. PUT THE BOTTLE AND THE PHONE DOWN AND DRIVE THE (FILL IN THE EXP.) CAR.

I knew my comment would draw out you bleeding heart save the baby freaks. I could care less about this woman, her baby or your babies. You wanna drive on the road with me, her, or anyone else, then the act of protecting yourself is your responsibility. If you dont want to risk your lives, then stay home and shut up because there are alot of people sick of hearing you whine about how evil drunk drivers are. You demonize drunk drivers then YOU get in your cars and get on your phones, and turn in your seat to pick up your baby's pacifier and swerve into another lane, and have seizures, and put on make up, and eat cheese burgers....but think there is nothing wrong with that. You are the people that kill with cars far more often then drunk drivers.
