Suspect was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center (JRC) on tentative charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Disorderly Conduct.

Victim:
Male, age 12, Madison

Details:
Madison Police arrested a 12-year-old girl yesterday evening after she reportedly threatened a neighbor boy with a 12" knife.

The victim said this all started when the suspect's brother called him fat, and said disparaging things about older clothes he wore. The suspect intervened in the argument, and the victim said she ended up swinging the knife six-inches from his face. Another boy was able to take it away from the suspect, and no one was injured.

The girl was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center (JRC) on tentative charges listed above.
