Infant Death Investigation In Sun Prairie
Sun Prairie Police investigate the death of an infant in the city.

News release from Sun Prairie Police Department:
In the morning hours of 03/14/10, the Sun Prairie Police Department received a call of an unresponsive infant in the 500 block of Martin Street, Sun Prairie. Police responded along with EMS.
The infant was transported to St. Mary's Emergency Department in Sun Prairie, where the infant was pronounced dead.
The department is conducting an investigation along with the Dane County Coroner's Office. At this point there are no signs of foul play, and no one is in custody.
An autopsy is scheduled to be completed on 03/15/10 by a medical examiner. At this time there is no cause for concern or any safety issues for the neighborhood or community.

How incredibly sad... my thoughts and prayers are with this family... This is something most parents cannot even imagine going through...
