Information from the Milton Police Department:

At approximately 1:00am, on the morning of March 14th, patrol officers from the City of Milton Police Department discovered spray painted graffiti on the rear of the CESA 2 building located at 448 E. High Street.

Several other complaints of similar graffiti were received throughout the day, including the Schilberg Park pavilion located across from Milton High School and Pak-Fresh, located at 245 E. Madison Avenue.

Also targeted were private homes and vehicles. Much of the graffiti was vulgar and obscene, and the vandals also attempted to make it appear gang-related.

An exact dollar amount of damage resulting from these crimes is not known at this time. However, the cost to repair and clean the buildings and vehicles will be substantial and could reach several thousands of dollars. Both juvenile males were charged with Criminal Damage to Property, a felony, due to the high dollar amount of damage.

An investigation into these incidents by the Milton Police Department has resulted in the arrest of two 15 year old males who reside in the City of Milton.

The investigation is ongoing and it is believed others may also be responsible. If you have any information regarding these crimes please contact the City of Milton Police Department at 868-6910 or 757-2244.
