Man in Critical Condition After Crashing into Tree

Victim
Male driver, age 20 in critical condition. Female passenger, age 19 non life threatening injuries.

Details
Vehicle was north bound on N Walbridge Ave. Driver lost control and struck a tree. Driver was pinned in the vehicle, passenger was able to exit. Driver was taken by Medflight to UW and is in critical condition. Alcohol is suspected as a factor and the crash is still under investigation.

When are people ever going to learn? He is lucky he didn't kill someone else. It's hard to feel bad for him. He got what he deserves

This isn't even news anymore as it happens on a daily basis. The passenger is just as responsible for allowing the friend to drive and made the choice to get into the vehicle with them knowing they had been drinking.
