From the Janesville Area Crime Stoppers:

On March 12, 2010 around 1:00pm Officers responded to the Springbrook Trail near Main St. and Palmer Dr. in regards to an assault on the bike trail. An 18 year old female reported being tackled from behind and struck in the face by a white male suspect, 5’9” to 5’11”, 175 lbs, wearing a tan baseball hat, tan shirt, tan Dockers style pants, and a dark mustache. The suspect was wearing clothes all the same tan color similar to a uniform. Suspect was last seen running w/b from the scene.

Detectives investigated a similar attack in 2007 on the bike trail. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious persons or incidents on the bike trails and parks.
