From the Middleton Police Department:

At 9:28 pm on Friday, June 4th, the Middleton Police Department responded to the area of the 5100 block of Torino Court for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim indicated while walking to their vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot, they were approached by two males, one who requested a cigarette. After a brief conversation, the suspect that asked for the cigarette then produced a handgun and demanded the victim's cash and to enter the victim's vehicle. The victim and the suspect entered the victim's vehicle and began to drive in the parking lot for a short distance at which time the victim exited the vehicle and began to run. The victim indicated while they were running from the suspect two to three gunshots were fired in their direction. The suspect then left the area in the victim's vehicle which was later located in the City of Madison.

The suspects in this incident are described as both male blacks with one wearing a multi colored shirt and tan shorts.
