A police chase in Jefferson County ends with a drunk driver getting flown to the hospital.

It started Saturday evening when police responded to a call for a disturbance at a home in the Town of Jefferson. When police arrived, the suspect tried to escape in her car and led police on a chase.

The driver eventually lost control and rolled into a ditch. She had not been wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Medflight transported the 33-year-old woman from Illinois to a Madison hospital. Right now her condition is unknown.

The woman faces multiple charges including her 3rd OWI and Fleeing an Officer.
