Details:
Soderstrom was traveling north on STH 80 south of Livingston, when her and her passenger, Bradley Knight, began to argue.
Knight threatened to take the life of Soderstrom and grabbed the steering wheel forcing them to travel into the southbound lane of STH 80, into oncoming traffic.
Soderstrom attempted to avoid a head on collision and over corrected, forcing her car to roll several times before coming to rest in the ditch.
Knight then attempted to flee the scene on foot before being taken into custody.
Soderstrom was taken to the Upland Hills Hospital for head and neck injuries.
Knight received minor injuries from the crash.
Knight was arrested on two outstanding warrants and a new charge of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. Soderstrom was not cited as a result of the crash.
Assisting the Grant County Sheriff’s Department was the Livingston Fire Department and First responders, Montfort EMS and an Off-Duty Officer from the Verona Police Department.
