Authorities investigate attempted abduction in West Baraboo park

Sauk Co. authorities are investigating an attempted abduction that happened in Haskins Park in West Baraboo.

It happened Oct. 16th around 7:53 p.m.

A driver asked a teenage boy for directions to Wal-Mart. As the teen was giving directions and pointing, the stranger grabbed his arm and tried to force him into the vehicle.

The teenager was able to break away and run home.

The suspect is described as a stocky white male with short hair, thought to be about six feet tall and has a deep voice. The vehicle is described as a mid-size silver SUV.
