From the Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force:
On 3/14/11 at about 12:00 p.m. the Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force, along with the Dubuque Drug Task Force (Dubuque Iowa) and the Grant County Sheriff's Department, responded to the Tower Motel located at 224 South Main Street in the Village of Dickeyville.
Information was given that Lianna Peters was staying at the Motel.
There were arrest warrants in the State of Iowa for Lianna for Escape and Dangerous Drugs, and also out of Grant county for possessing materials for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Upon arrival, Lianna was located at the Motel; a search of her room was conducted. Once authorities entered the room, a red phosphorous methamphetamine lab was located.
Lianna was arrested for the outstanding warrants for the State of Iowa and Wisconsin and currently is being held in the Grant County Jail.
Additional charges for possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine will be forwarded to the Grant County District Attorney's Office.
Members from DCI responded to the location for evidence collection, and members from Chicago IL Crime Scene Cleanup were dispatched to the location for disposing the methamphetamine lab.
