Baraboo Woman Killed in Crash in Waupun

TOWN OF WAUPUN - A Baraboo woman was killed in a traffic accident around 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the town of Waupun.
Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials said the 50-year-old was driving northbound and crossed the center line on Hwy 26 north of Willow Road.
She hit a southbound semi, which caused her vehicle to collide with a van traveling southbound. The woman was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
There were six people in the southbound van. Three received minor injuries.
The driver of the semi, a 43-year-old Green Bay man, was not injured.
Officials said the crash remains under investigation.
