Beaver Dam police arrested a 21-year-old man on multiple charges after a police chase Wednesday.
The chase began after an officer tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Madison St. and Rowell St.
The car took off, reaching speeds of near 80 miles per hour.
Once the chase reached Highway G, the speeds were more than 95 miles per hour.
The car was involved in a crash near the entrance to a mobile home park at N7253 Forest Road in Dodge County. The crash damaged mailboxes at the entrance.
The driver took off on foot and went into a nearby trailer. He was taken into custody shortly afterward.
The man faces charges of OWI 1st offense, fleeing or eluding a traffic officer, failure to stop at a flashing red light, speeding and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was taken into custody on a probation hold.
