Information from the Rock County Sheriff:
On 10-06-12 at about 12:51am a Deputy from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carl Robinson, 36 years of age, from Beloit, WI for 4th Offense felony Operating Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
The Deputy initiated the traffic stop on Robinson as he was driving in the area of S. CTH G and E. Townline Rd.
The Deputy ran a DOT check on the registration plate, of the vehicle Robinson was driving, and the registered owner came back with a suspended driving status.
The Deputy stopped the vehicle Robinson was driving, and the Deputy detected an odor of intoxicants on Robinson’s breath, as he made contact with him.
The Deputy conducted field sobriety tests on Robinson, who failed the tests.
Robinson was subsequently arrested for 4th Offense OWI, and issued citations for Operating While Revoked and Open Intoxicants.
Robinson was transported to the Rock County Jail where he was booked in and released with a court date of 11-08-12 at 8am.
