UPDATE: Beloit Police have suspect in custoday for questioning

UPDATED: Friday, September 5, 2014 --- 10:07 p.m.

On August 29, the Beloit Police Department was notified by the Department of Corrections that Anthony Dumas was incarcerated at the Rock County Jail.

This after Dumas was arrested by the Chicago Police Department on August 18th under another name for retail theft. He was positively identified and held in the Cook County Jail on the Department of Corrections warrant.

Police say Dumas will be interviewed next week regarding his possible involvement or knowledge in some incidents that occurred over the past several months.

Three suspects, 25-year-old Floyd Poe, 20-year-old Anthony Dumas, and 21-year-old Damont Green, are wanted by the Beloit Police Department.

Poe and Dumas are both considered to be armed and dangerous. They are also being questioned for violent crimes that have happened in Beloit. Green was arrested for sexual assault of a child.

All three suspects have active arrest warrants.

Any information regarding any of these three suspects, please contact Beloit Police. A cash reward of $1,000 is being given to anyone who has information leading up to an arrest of any the suspects.
