Can Of Hair Spray Involved In Green County Crash

From the Green County Sheriff's Office:

At 6:18 P.M. (October 24, 2012:), Deputies responded to motor vehicle crash on STH 69 at CTH B, Town of Clarno.

Investigation revealed that Jeffrey A. Hable, age 41 of Browntown, was northbound on STH 69, stopped in traffic, waiting to turn west on to CTH B when a northbound vehicle driven by Alane K. Fransen, age 38 of Freeport, rear ended Hable's vehicle.

Fransen stated that she saw the vehicle in front of her stopped, and as she was slowing down, a can of hair spray that was sitting next to her, fell on the floor and landed underneath her brake. Fransen stated that she attempted to remove the can of hair spray but was not able to in time, and rear ended the vehicle in front of her.

Hable was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in his vehicle.

Neither Fransen nor her passengers were injured and all were wearing seat belts. The air bags did not deploy in her vehicle.

Hable had moderate damage to his vehicle and he drove it from the scene.

Fransen had moderate damage to her vehicle and she drove it from the scene.
