Information from the Rock County Sheriff's Department:
On November 23, 2012 at approximately 5:08 p.m., Rock County Deputies along with City of Milton and City of Edgerton Fire Departments responded to a vehicle fire at 1716 E. Road Two St. in Milton Township. Units arrived on scene to discover the vehicle at the residence was fully engulfed. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished but not before burning a wooden fence on the property line and part of the roof and porch at the residence.
Investigation at the scene revealed the fire appears accidental and started near the engine. Including the vehicle, damage is estimated to be approximately $60,000.00. There is no additional investigation being pursued at this time.
