TOMAHAWK, Wis. (AP) -- The former manager of the Tomahawk Bus Company and his wife are accused of embezzling $90,000 from their employer.
Forty-four-year-old Shad Harper and 46-year-old Kimberly Harper are each charged with theft, fraud and identity theft. Prosecutors say the couple used the embezzled money for groceries, vehicle repairs and synthetic drugs, among other things.
Kimberly Harper worked in the office and Shad Harper managed the company until they were fired in June 2013. WSAW-TV (http://bit.ly/UvVJq3 ) says both are free on signature bonds and will be back in court June 26.
