UPDATE: Lanes now open on EB I-90 near Wisconsin Dells after crash

UPDATED Wednesday, August 21, 2013 --- 5:20 p.m.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis.---A motorcoach crash Wednesday afternoon injured two people and closed eastbound I-90 near the Dells.

The vehicle left the road around 12:30 p.m. and hit a tree throwing a passenger from the motorcoach and pinning the driver, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The driver was taken to UW Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The injured passenger also has non-life threatening injuries.

All three people in the motorcoach are from Minnesota. The section of I-90 was re-opened around 2:00 p.m.

The DOT says that lanes on eastbound I-90 near the Dells are now open following a crash.

A crash has closed all lanes of traffic on eastbound I-90 near Wisconsin Dells.

It happened near mile marker 100.

Authorities are advising drivers to take this alternate route: Exit 92 to US 12, south to WIS 33 East in Baraboo, back to I-90/94.

Viewer pictures show that a medical helicopter responded to the scene.
