UPDATE: A 59-year-old man is dead after a crash near Waunakee Wednesday.

UPDATED Wednesday, May 8, 2013 --- 9:32pm

The Dane County Sheriff's Office reports a 59 year old man from Spring Green is dead after colliding with a vehicle driven by a 64 year old Madison woman at the intersection of Highway 113 and 19.

The report says the woman was at the intersection of 113 and 19 and was about to turn southbound onto 113. The 59 year old man, driving northbound collided with her car.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was flown to UW hospital.

Rescue crews are at the scene of a crash on Highway 19.

It's at the intersection of 19 and Highway 113 near Waunakee.

The crash closed westbound lanes of 19. Traffic is being rerouted.

Medflight responded to the scene. There is no information on injuries at this point.

Detour information from the DOT: Westbound traffic will go south on WIS 113 to Arboretum Drive, west on Arboretum Drive to Moravian Valley Road, north on Moravian Valley Road to Frank Street, west on Frank Street to Raemisch Road, north on Raemisch Road back to WIS 19.
