Madison Police responded to the 2100 block of S. Park St. early Tuesday morning after a passerby reported seeing two young men spray painting parked vehicles. Officers discovered 2 vans and a truck had been tagged with gang insignia. They found similar black writing on two buildings: one in the 2100 block of S. Park St., the other in the 2000 block of S. Park St. The criminals, dressed in dark clothing, were seen running west toward Dane St. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call the MPD's South District at 266-5938 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
