Details:
On 10/25/2012, at approximately 6:20am, Madison Police were dispatched to the 4800 block of Sheboygan Avenue reference a robbery of a 58-year-old female.
The victim was walking on N. Eau Claire, and as she neared the intersection of Sheboygan Avenue, a male subject approached her from behind.
The suspect (only described as wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt) grabbed the victim around the neck with a metal object in his hand, and demanded her personal belongings. The victim took money from her wallet, and the suspect fled the area with the currency.
No injuries were sustained in this robbery, and police are continuing to investigate this matter.
