Mr. Marshall was arrested for Retail Theft, Bail Jumping, Habitual Criminality or Repeater, and on a Warrant.
Details: The MPD arrested a Sun Prairie man who is believed to have stolen more than $4,500 worth of expensive headphones from West Towne's Apple Store over the last couple of months.
A loss prevention officer detained the suspect last Friday afternoon as he tried to get away with two headphones: a black Beats Pro that retails for $399.95 and a silver Beats Executive that retails for $699.90. The loss prevention officer told police the suspect has been taking headphones from the store – a pair or two at a time - since July. The suspect admitted as much, estimating he has taken 9 or 10 headphones. He said he was reselling them for cash, charging about $80 for each.
