CrimeTracker 15: Robber Snatches Woman's Purse on Madison's West Side

Address: 200 block Randolph Dr.

Suspect(s): Male, black, 5'6", 100 pounds, thin build, possible acne, wearing a shiny green coat with a fur-lined hood.

Victim(s): Female, age 55, Madison

Details: A 55-year old Madison woman had her purse stolen after a stranger came up behind her in the 200 block of Randolph Dr. Thursday night. The victim said the strong-armed robber yanked her purse, breaking the straps. He fled with it toward Tree Lane.

She said the criminal also pushed her, and she ended up falling on concrete. A MPD K9 picked up the robber's scent, and tracked several blocks, but no suspect was found.
