Victim: Female, age 21, Madison
Details: A woman walking in the 400 block of W. Gilman St. said a stranger approached her from behind and ripped her backpack away from her around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night.
The Under Armour brand pack contained her wallet and some clothes. The victim did not report the crime to the MPD until Monday morning. She was unable to get a detailed description of the robber.
