According to the Madison Police Department, a concerned citizen attempted to revive a driver who was unconscious in a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of traffic Friday afternoon.
According to a release, the citizen pulled Kimberly K. Olson, 30, of Madison, out from behind the wheel of a car that was stopped in the middle of the road. The woman than began life-saving measures as police and fire were called, police said.
Paramedics arrived, administered Narcan, and Olson was revived.
Olson admitted to shooting heroin and apologized for her actions, according to the release. Olson was arrested on tentative charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a probation hold.
