In Madison on Saturday, police arrested two people after a report of a disturbance involving a firearm.
On Saturday at 2:45 a.m., the Madison Police responded to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm inside the Government East parking structure at 105 E. Doty St. Police arrived on scene and eventually detained two subjects involved.
According to a release, the investigation revealed that three people were out at a downtown restaurant when they began to argue over the bar tab. The three, which included Jeremy Tiffany and Mitchell Christen, continued the argument to the parking ramp on the way to their car. During the confrontation, Tiffany displayed a handgun.
Both Tiffany and Christen were conveyed to the Dane County Jail on tentative charges for Disorderly Conduct.
No one was hurt in this incident. The firearm was never discharged. Access to the parking ramp was temporarily restricted during this investigation but it has since been reopened.
