Posted Friday, June 6, 2014 --- 4:48 p.m.

The Dane Co. Clerk's Office will be open until 9:00 p.m. Friday night and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

The hours change comes after a federal judge struck down Wisconsin's ban on same-sex marriage, ruling it unconstitutional.

An spokesperson with the Dane Co. Executive's Office says the Clerk's Office will start issuing marriage licenses at 5:00 p.m. Friday.

More information on what is needed for a marriage license can be found at the Clerk's Office's website. You can get there by clicking HERE.
