DALLAS (AP) -- Travelers heading out this weekend for the holidays face some cancellations and flight delays as conditions improve following a Midwest blizzard.
Airports in the Philadelphia and New York areas reported weather-related flight delays Friday morning.
American Airlines and American Eagle on Friday reported 21 flight cancellations due to weather. Spokeswoman Dori Alvarez says the Fort Worth-based carrier on Thursday canceled 99 American Airlines flights and 214 American Eagle flights.
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines canceled nearly 260 flights since Thursday but was running its full schedule Friday.
Maureen Richmond with Dallas-based Greyhound Bus Lines says the carrier had delays and cancellations between Minneapolis and Chicago, plus Indianapolis. Spokeswoman Maureen Richmond says the bus line's schedule was expected to return to normal later Friday.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Three of four airlines have canceled all flights in and out of Dane County Regional Airport.
The terminal at the Madison airport is eerily quiet Thursday as snow from a major Midwest storm continues to fall in the area.
Airport spokesman Brent McHenry says Delta, American Airlines and Frontier have canceled all flights. McHenry says two United Airlines flights landed and departed Thursday. On a typical day the airport has about 100 departures and arrivals.
The airport serves south central Wisconsin where a blizzard warning was posted.

The majority of incoming and outgoing flights at the Dane County Regional Airport have already been canceled ahead of the incoming snow storm, according to airport spokesperson Brent McHenry.
He says so far incoming flights from Delta, American and Frontier Airlines have been canceled. Right now all United Airline flights are still on as scheduled. However, McHenry says they may also cancel a number of incoming flights. That would mean many flights would also be canceled Thursday morning, since many of the planes would not have arrived at the airport.
