At approximately 12:25 a.m. on Saturday the Sun Prairie Police and EMS responded to an accident on Highway 151 just south of Reiner Rd. near Sun Prairie.

Officers responded to the three-vehicle crash. The driver of one of the vehicles fled prior to the officers arriving on scene. That subject was later located and received several citations for playing a role in the crash.

Authorities discovered the subject who fled was traveling NB on Highway 151 in the far left lane at speeds around 100 mph. The vehicle then attempted to slow down due to traffic. In doing so, the driver of the vehicle lost control, struck the median, and spun out. Other vehicles traveling on the highway attempted to avoid the vehicle, but two were unable to do so. One subject was injured as a result of this accident and transported by EMS to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
