Driver and Pedestrian Cited After Crash

Details
A 21-year old downtown resident was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries after stepping into the path of a car on W. Johnson St. early Sunday morning. Witnesses said the driver, a 42-year old Middleton woman, was heading east on W. Johnson, and had a green light at the time of the collision. She was cited for first offense drunken driving. The injured pedestrian was heading south on N. Broom St. when she ventured into traffic. She was also intoxicated and was ticketed for sudden pedestrian movement.
