The names of those involved in yesterday's fatal crash in Lafayette County, WI are being released.
Deceased as a result of injuries from the crash is Thurman E. Taylor, age 45, of Mineral Point, WI.
Taylor was driving a 2005 Dodge Stratus that sustained very severe damage.
Taylor was wearing a seat belt.
Driving the semi-tractor was Jerome A. Vogel, age 69, of Monroe, WI. Vogel was driving a 1998 International Semi-Tractor Trailer owned by Flying Eagle Express LTD out of Monroe, WI.
Vogel was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

A driver is dead after a crash between a semi-tractor trailer and a car in Shullsburg Township.
It happened around 9:34 a.m. Thursday morning on STH 11 at CTH E. Lafayette County Sheriff's deputies say the driver of the car was crossing STH 11 and apparently didn't see the semi. The semi driver wasn't able to avoid the car and hit the passenger side, pushing it down the road.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. That driver was wearing a seatbelt, as was the driver of the semi. The semi driver was uninjured.
Names are not being released at this time, pending notification of family. This is Lafayette County's first traffic fatality of 2012.
